"I’m happiest when I’m creating and discovering. This happens most when I’m designing or redesigning Made in Brooklyn Tours. Then I’m an explorer on a sort of trade mission – like Marco Polo!"
This past winter I asked my friend, artist and photographer Joshua Reynolds, to take some pictures of me in Coney Island. I thought it would be cool and I was wrong. We froze our butts off! These pics came in handy when CanvasRebel reached out to me. In the interview I described how my life dramatically changed following a sales career in the data communications and networking industries. We covered:
- How I morphed from salesman to sightseeing guide and who inspired me to create an entirely new way of life.
- Going from employee to entrepreneur and how important it is to have a mission and to stick to it.
- The joy of showing my hometown to the new-in-town, back-in-town, visitors from near and far. And my approach to tour design - even of places I'm familiar with.
